Aniplex of America is releasing a series of four shows in High Definition Blu-Ray and DVD soon, the line-up includes “Anohana; The Flower we Saw That Day”, “Kizumonogatari Part 3; Reiketsu”, “Koyomimonogatari”, and “Sword Art Online; The Movie”. Anohana’s release date is intended on October 31st, 2017, Kizumonogatari part 3 is intended to release on November 11th, 2017, and both Koyomimonogatari and Sword Art Online; The Movie are slated for release on December 19th, 2017.

“Anohana; The Flower We Saw That Day” is being released as a box set with an english dub. Bonus Edition copies are slated to recieve Teasers, Bloopers, and Voice Actor commentary with their copy that may be shipped incide of a special edition Masayoshi Tanaka illustrated box.

The series is being heralded as a powerful tearjerker that can “test one’s manly emotional reserve.” In fact, during the original premire at Anime Expo (July 2017), attendees to the preview were given special tissue packs to staunch the flow of emotions. The english cast was afterwards surprised with a blooper reel that may be included with special bonus editions of the box set.

The cast includes Xanthe Huynh as Menma, Erica Lundbeck as Yukiatsu, Erica Mendez as Tsuruko, Kaiji Tang as Poppo, and Griffin Burns as Jintan. They have been directed by Patrick Seitz whom has had their “Your lie in April” recieve acclaim from fans.

Pre-orders are available August 11th, 2017, from Aniplex of America. The entire dubbed series is condensed onto just two Blu-ray disks, and there are special editon box sets available for those interested in additional gear and collectables related to the Anohana series.

“Koyomimonogatari” or “Calendar Story” is twelve episodes across two discs intended to mimic a calendar year about the protagonist Koyomi Araragi’s occult experiences with his harem of unusual women.

The blu-ray edition includes bonus content, among it being a Deluxe Booklet, Postcard set, and packaging illustrated by the character artist. However, this is not available as a dubbed title and only a subtitled version is available for those who cannot speak Japanese.

“Sword art Online; The Movie” is an already existing movie now available on Blu-Ray and DVD. It is based on a light novel by Reki Kawahara that has sold over 18.6 million copies. Author Kawahara has come back to write the movie itself and reportedly “Focused on the fans’ favorite characters being retrofitted into the timeilne more smoothly.” The movie has a large dedicated fanbase that will thoroughly enjoy these releases to have in their own homes.

The deluxe blu-ray edition is intended to include both Japanese and English audio, commentary from the cast and creators, a sound track CD, deluxe booklet, and box with special artwork.

“Kizumonogatari Part 3: Reiketsu” is the third and final part of a prequel trilogy, with “Reiketsu” literally translating to “Cold Blooded”, the translation allegedly sets the stage for the franchise. This release is intended to show how Kyomi Araragi became a vampire, as well as transition the prequel trilogy into the main movie smoothly.

The blu-ray edition includes the original Japanese cast and it’s top-notch creative team, it does not however include an English Dub, only English subtitles. Bonus content of the series is intended to include a Theatrical Trailer, PV & CM collections, the original sound track on CD-ROM, a Deluxe Booklet and Postcard set, as well as a special box illustrated by the character designer.
