Its rare that an MMO pins its hopes on people enjoying farming, but for Bitbox’s new MMO Life is Feudal, that is exactly what they are doing. A new video out today is designed to show that in the world of Life is Feudal, even the humble farmer is a fun profession. From plowing your fields to foraging for seeds, the video shows no shortage of activities for even the most humble of Life is Feudal players.

Life is Feudal: MMO, will attempt to full simulate feudal life, and that means not everyone can be a lord. Today we get a look at what its like to be a farmer.

Farmers will be in high demand, as even the largest guilds will need to farm some of their own foods to maintain their standing armies. Like any good MMO there will be specialties in the game, but I don’t think I have ever seen one with a role that is basically farmville to feed and heal armies.

Life is Feudal: MMO is a large-scale group-focused RPG, that places players in a highly realistic, non-fantasy, medieval world where danger lurks around every corner. Players need to work as a team to gather resources, build shelter, craft tools and form a fully functioning feudal society in an unforgiving archaic world. Players may find a place in society as a vassal, a knight, a farmer or even royalty, as their guild builds and expands their medieval societies.
